java script: matrix

also, habe gerade auf meiner index seite den matrix script ausprobiert, funzt aba net bei mir. habe mir den quelltext kopiert und in meiner index.hmtl eingefügt aba es passiert nix. muss ich da was beachten ? (bin noch nen noob in java) den text habe ich benutzt:
