ftp mit lokalem verzeichnis synchronisieren

ich brauche ein programm, das auf einem ftp-server eine exakte kopie eines lokalen verzeichnisses erstellt. dabei soll natürlich nicht jedesmal der gesamte inhalt hochgeladen werden, sondern nur die lokalen änderungen auf dem server nachführen. das ganze sollte für beliebige unterverzeichnisse auch funktionieren.
und nein, svn ist nicht das was ich (in diesem fall) brauche.
