We're looking for somebody who's excited about robust, scalable software architecture and willing to take on development responsibility for core components of the system. We're also working on a few challenging AI problems.
We've been growing our customer base rapidly and need to scale our MEAN based infrastructure accordingly. We're therefore looking for somebody who's excited about robust and scalable software architecture (combined with an incessant need to move quickly) and willing to take on development responsibility for core components of the system (which could include building and leading the appropriate team). Additionally, given the industry we're tackling, we're also working on a select few challenging AI problems.
Who are we looking for?
- You have a passion for software development
- You are experienced in JavaScript and NodeJS or AngularJS
- You have great English written and verbal communication skills
- You have a technical degree or have been coding from a young age
... also KISS, DRY, YAGNI, SOLID, TDD don't sound like terms from a foreign language to you?
What awaits you?
We currently employ 8 people. Many of us have graduated from Stanford and deep trucking experience. We went through Stanford's StartX accelerator and subsequently raised $1.6 million from two leading seed funds in Silicon Valley as well as Stanford University.
What do we offer you?
You will start out as a full-time contractor, working from Germany (or anywhere else in the world, for that matter). After a few months, we will employ you in our German subsidiary to enable us to get a work visa for you. After 6-12 months, we will give you the optional opportunity to join us full time in our headquarter in the heart of San Francisco, CA. Shortly thereafter, we will kick off the Greencard process for you, so that you can become a permanent resident of the United States (and eventually a citizen, if you so desire).
