Festpalttengrösse wird nicht richtig angezeigt

Hi,

hab da mal ne Frage.

Ich habe mir eine Festplatte Samsung

(SV1604N) 160GB in meinen Rechner eingebaut.

Mein Mainboard ist ein Asrock K7S8X.

Betriebsystem Win XP

Jetzt habe ich das Problem, dass er

die Festpattengrösse nur 127GB anzeigt

und nicht 160 GB die die Festplatte

ja hat.

An was liegt das und was kann ich tun,

damit er mir die wahre Grösse

anzeigt???

Für eine Antwort wäre ich sehr dankbar.

Wäre es möglich, dass da 2 partitions drauf sind und eine davon versteckt ist?

es wird unter Eigenschaften ( C angezeigt.

Ich habe auch keine 2 Patitionen.

könnte mir vorstellen, dass
1) Windows das falsch anzeigt
2) Die HDD nur mit 127GB formatiert ist.

wieso schreibst du so komisch ...hast du schon mal ein Bios Update in betracht gezogen?

was meist du damit " Warum schreibst du so komisch"?

Habe versucht ein Biosupdate zu machen hat aber nivcht geklappt.

Create a bootable system floppy disk.
Download the FLASH.EXE and copy FLASH.EXE to the just created boot disk in step 1.
Download an updated ASRock BIOS file (WinZip format with .zip file extension) from the web site, unzip the BIOS file and save to the disk you created in step 2.
Boot from the disk you created in step 3.
At the "A:\" prompt, type FLASH, hit space bar once, and type BIOS file name then press <Enter>. For example: A:\FLASH K7VT2_1.20 <Enter> then you will see a message "Please wait for BIOS loading ROM".
After 1 minute, you will see the message "Flash ROM Update Completed - Pass", then you have finished upgrading the BIOS.
After finishing upgrading the BIOS, please remove the floppy disk. Restart your system and press <F2> to enter the BIOS setup utility during boot up.
In Exit menu, please select "Load Default Settings" and press <Enter> to continue.
Select "Exit Saving Changes" and press <Enter> to exit the BIOS setup utility.
Now, system is booting up with new BIOS.

Gibt es keinen anderen Weg mein Bios up zu daten.

Da ich kein Floppy habe, habe ich nur die Flash.exe und

das udate Bios auf CD gebrannt habe dann im Bios

umgestellt zuerst starten mit CD

es funktioniert aber nicht er greift einfach nicht auf die Cd zu.

Du brauchst natürlich ne bootfähige CD sonst wird das nix

ne low-level-formatierung könnte auch was bringen... dauert bei der grossen kapazität deiner festplatte aber bestimmt 1-2 tage
tools dafür gibts normalerweise auf der HP des herstellers.
