Join our fast growing international team in Nokia's Location Services unit as a Senior Front-End developer for Maps. We are looking for an experienced web application developer to create a cutting-edge map experience for both mobile and desktop user interfaces.

You will be a key contributor on a cross-functional team, developing web run-time based UI component for Maps. Work will include close collaboration with product owners, user experience designers, QA team and core maps platform developers. Depending on your qualifications and interest, you will also be closely involved in architecture, API and/or user interface definition and development.

As a senior developer you are willing to take independent responsibility on selected application areas and to lead by example. Success demands mastering latest web technologies and the ability to learn quickly in order to efficiently apply knowledge into practice.


- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar technical degree
- 6 years experience developing user interfaces for web devices for consumer services and applications
- Comprehensive expertise in JavaScript, XHTML/CSS, AJAX, JSON and other web standards
- Hands-on experience with object-oriented software engineering and programming languages (e.g. C++ or Java)
- Excellent track record of previous work, large scale web application development experience is a plus
- Knowledge and insight on APIs and 3rd party developer offerings
- Highly collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment
- Familiar with Agile development, using appropriate tools and techniques
- Fluent in English - written and spoken
